Hey, I'm

Welcome to Leber Software

Experience

I am an experienced Senior Software Engineer with extensive programming expertise since 2002. I specialize in identifying customer needs and translating them into effective software solutions. I hold a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pécs, earned in 2010. In 2019, I enhanced my skills by completing a UX Designer course, which provided me with modern software design methodologies that complement my academic background. This allows me to seamlessly integrate traditional software design techniques with contemporary approaches.Currently, I am employed at Lufthansa Systems Hungaria. I'm working there as a Senior Expert Full Stack Engineer (similar to a Staff Engineer level in many international engineering organizations) with a frontend focus, specializing in React, TypeScript and Spring Boot within large-scale enterprise environments. Leading technical initiatives across multiple teams, driving architecture decisions, frontend standards and engineering best practices. Experienced in mentoring developers, conducting technical interviews and leading engineering communities while contributing hands-on to complex product development. Strong focus on scalable architectures, developer experience, maintainability and high-quality software delivery.Additionally, I run a technology YouTube channel, "Codeching", where I share insights and tutorials on various technologies. I also maintain this personal website (Leber Software) featuring the VR mobile games I have developed for the Oculus platform.

Honors & Awards

  • 2026 April: Recognition of Senior Expert Title
Professional excellence award - László Leber - Lufthansa Systems
Awarded the Senior Expert title (Staff level software engineer) in recognition of my professional contribution to Lufthansa Systems Hungaria. This title reflects senior-level expertise, organizational impact, active knowledge sharing, and continuous professional improvement.
  • 2025 Oct: Professional Excellence Award I received this award in recognition of my significant contributions to the UI community, as well as my key role in our project, where I serve as the team architect and full-stack lead developer. Part of the award also acknowledges my development of an internal Gantt library, which is now being integrated into our product and may become part of a broader internal UI package for company-wide use. It was a pure UI developer challenge that I truly enjoyed.
  • 2024 May: Professional Excellence Award Lufthansa Systems – team award – We would like to nominate the whole AERQ team @LSYH for the Professional Excellence Award because of their outstanding contribution to the enter-into service of the AERQ AERENA Entertainment System. After a long journey started in 2020 and very challenging months at the end the next generation of IFE was able to take off at Discover Airlines in April and operating smootly since then. The team was able to cope with the continously changing expectations, introduced state of the art technologies and established a professional mindset, enthusiasm and expertise without which this product surely couldn't have been born. Congratulations to the whole team!
